Two blue glass Roman unguentarium fragments, also sometimes called a balsamaria or ampulla. This bottle would have had a long thin neck that has broken off and now we are left with just the bottoms. This vessel could have held ointments, cosmetics, perfume, oils, medicine, herbs, the list goes on. The larger fragment has a little bit of iridescence in the right light. Approximately 2000 years old. Stand not included. Size: 2" diameter, 1.5" diameter
