Really special and unique human skull. This specimen is missing its sagittal suture down the center back of the skull, this is indicative of Craniosynostosis. This condition happens when a baby's skull fuses to early, and also causes skull deformation. If you look at the last photo the skull in propped up on a wood base and you can see the exaggerated angle at the base of the skull and slight elongation. Unsure of the age of this specimen. Condition is good, missing most of its teeth and a few small chips around the nasal cavity. The mandible is attached with two small pieces of wire. You will receive the wood display plate in the first three photos. Size: approximately 6"T x 8'L x 5.5'W; plate 9.5"diameter
