Antique Victorian era gutta percha locket, mourning jewelry, memorial jewelry. Nice sized locket with a 3 dimensional carving of a swallow on a branch. Intricate carvings inside with some remains of some sort of resin. The hinge is broken, as it has worn through but the locket still clips together securely. Chain was added later, unsure of metal composition but marked Germany on the clasp. Does not include jewelry box shown but will ship in a new jewelry box. Size: 1.75"T x 1.5"W x 1"D, chain 24"
